Where have you worked?
Prior to Vestia, I worked at Larson Financial and then Merrill Lynch. I have extensive experience in trading and securities case management in both large company and small company settings. I have had a change in job title or company about every two years that I have been in the industry, so I have seen a lot! I am happy to have found a long-term home at Vestia which aligns not just with my background in finance, but also with my values which are too important to leave at the door when I enter my workplace each day.
When did you first realize you were interested in finance?
My interest in finance was piqued in high school accounting class, and I immediately started thinking about building my career in the field.
What is the most important thing you have learned about helping other people?
The happiness of helping others generally outweighs the cost.
What are you known for among your friends?
I am known for being loyal and having an amazing work ethic.
What is your favorite part of what you do at Vestia?
The people! We have a great team at Vestia, and I’m excited to see what we can do for our clients by working together!
How do you spend your time outside of work?
Now that wedding planning is no longer consuming my time, I am looking forward to getting our pups back into training classes, reading suspense books, decorating our home, crocheting blankets, and spending time with family – I have nine nieces & nephews, so never a dull moment!
One of Vestia’s values is to model “wealth that matters.” What does this mean to you?
“Wealth That Matters” means refining the art of saving for our long-term goals while balancing money’s ability to enrich and enhance our lives in the now.
