Andrea Fletcher, CFP®, CPWA®, discovered her passion for financial planning 20 years ago while attending her first client meeting as an intern. She saw firsthand how empowering it can be for someone to understand their options and have a thoughtful plan for the future. Andrea was drawn to a profession that combined strategy and problem-solving with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a lasting difference in people’s lives.
Andrea enjoys helping clients bring together the many pieces of their financial lives—from investments, debt and taxes to insurance, career decisions and family goals. She takes the time to understand what matters most to each client so she can help them make sense of complicated decisions and feel more confident and in control. For Andrea, the most rewarding part of her work is serving as a trusted resource through both life’s major milestones and the everyday decisions that add up over time.
At Vestia, Andrea is excited to apply her experience in relationship-driven financial planning and client service to the unique needs of physicians and their families. She looks forward to helping clients find clarity amid the many moving pieces of their financial lives and make thoughtful decisions that support the life they want to build.
Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designations, as well as the Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations and her Life & Health Insurance License.
Outside the office, Andrea can often be found planning her next trip, visiting a highly recommended restaurant or enjoying the outdoors. She loves hiking, kayaking, biking and nearly anything involving fresh air, water, trees or a great view. She also enjoys reading and volunteering with Tenth Life Cat Rescue, a St. Louis organization that helps cats and kittens – including those requiring extra care or a second chance – find safe, loving homes.
What is the most important thing you have learned about helping other people?
The most important thing I’ve learned about helping people is that you can’t assume you know what they need just because you understand the numbers. The real work starts with listening – understanding what matters to them, what they’re worried about, and what kind of life they’re trying to build. Once you understand that, the advice becomes a lot more meaningful.
What are you known for among your friends?
Among my friends, I’m known as the planner, the encourager, and the person who will absolutely do the research before we commit to anything. Whether it’s finding a great restaurant, planning a trip, or turning a small idea into a full project, I like making life feel a little more fun, thoughtful, and well-organized.
One of Vestia’s values is to model Wealth that Matters®. What does this mean to you?
To me, modeling Wealth That Matters® means being intentional about building a life that reflects your values, not just your income or account balances. It is about using your resources – time, money, energy, and relationships – in a way that supports what matters most to you.
In my own life, that means valuing meaningful work, strong relationships, new experiences, giving back, and having the freedom to enjoy the people and places I care about. In my work with clients, it means helping them define what wealth looks like beyond the numbers and building a plan that supports their real life, not just their financial statements.
