“To me, Wealth that Matters® means finding both the things that give me joy and the things that I can do to provide joy to others.“
Emma brings an analytical background to her role at Vestia, helping clients understand their financial picture and make more informed decisions. Her specialty is analyzing financial situations and bringing new planning opportunities for clients. She loves helping clients plan for a secure future that allows them to live their Wealth that Matters.
Outside of the office, Emma enjoys spending time reading, finding new restaurants to try, going on walks with friends, and spending quality time with family and pets. She also enjoys watching the Detroit Tigers in the spring and summer.

When did you first realize you were interested in finance?
I first realized I was interested in finance during my sophomore year of college. I started talking to my parents about credit scores, retirement planning, and everything in between. I soon grew to love the topics and began reading a little bit about it on my own. I realized how much I loved talking about everything I learned with my friends and thinking about my own financial future.
What is the most important thing you have learned about helping other people?
The most important thing I have learned about helping other people is that you have to listen to what they want. So often it is easy to assume you know what a person wants or what is best for them without actually hearing them. The first step in helping someone is to give them the space to explore their options and what they want help with.
One of Vestia’s values is to model Wealth that Matters®. What does this mean to you?
To me, Wealth that Matters means finding both the things that give me joy and the things that I can do to provide joy to others. Often, this means spending quality time with my friends and family. With each year that passes, I find time spent with those closest to me to be even more precious than the year before. I soak up each moment that I can!
