“I think we are called to be stewards of the things God has gifted us with. Wealth is not earned, but gifted to us, and it is what we choose to do with it that determines our character in life.”

As a Financial Advisor, Chris strives to take the financial stress off busy physicians by being their “personal CFO”. He walks clients through the pros and cons of each of life’s big financial decisions. Whether it’s looking through the details of their first contract or deciphering the particulars of buying into a surgery center, he wants to help his clients make the best decisions in accordance with their long term goals. He hopes to help physicians live their best financial life both now and in the future.

Chris earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Taylor University. He has completed the CFP® Certification Professional Education Program through the College for Financial Planning and holds his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. In addition, Chris is registered with a Series 66 license and holds a Life & Health Insurance License.

Outside the office, Chris and his wife, Jessi, and their daughter, Lilli, enjoy being active in the South Carolina weather. Chris enjoys playing tennis, volleyball, golfing or snow skiing. Chris, Jessi and Lilli love to travel to new places or to see friends and family, with their dog, Wrigley, always in tote.

One of Vestia’s values is to model Wealth That Matters®. What does this mean to you?

To me Wealth That Matters® means using your skills and gifts to have an impact on those around you.

When did you first realize you were interested in finance?

I loved practical numbers and math and in high school my grandfather gifted me my first book on investing. I devoured the book and fell in love with market and compound interest. In college I found advising as a way to pair my love of financial markets with the opportunity to help others achieve their goals.

What is your favorite part of what you do at Vestia?

My favorite part of life at Vestia is the people. The team I get to work with each day and the amazing clients we get the opportunity to serve, are the reasons I love what I do at Vestia.
