Kya works behind the scenes in our Nashville office, orchestrating seamless operations that empower our CEO to shine. She schedules meetings, manages a hectic email inbox, books travel, and handles the often-unpredictable in-betweens! Thanks to Kya's efforts, our CEO dedicates her time to serving Vestia's team and mission while still personifying the essence of "Wealth That Matters."
After beginning her professional journey in the world of culinary arts, Kya realized she enjoyed cooking and baking much more as a hobby and made a pivot to hospitality and office administration. Beyond the hustle and bustle of the office, you can find Kya cooking up delicious creations for family and friends, tending to her garden, or spending time with her partner, Alaura, and their three adorable pets: cats Freyja and Tarot, and their faithful dog, Kyoshi.

Tell us about something special from your youth.
Some of my favorite memories as a child are going on camping trips and day hikes into beautiful state and national parks with a big group of my family. Playing with my brother and cousins in huge waterfalls, hiking and exploring with my family in forests and caves - I just remember always having so much fun and it really gave me so much love for both family and nature.Where have you worked? What is the best thing that has ever happened to you while working?
During college, I received a glowing recommendation for a position with Vanderbilt University which was truly perfect for me and a stepping stone to my dream job! Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic started just 2 months into the position and led to a downsizing of non-essential employees. I lost my job, and I was devastated. In hindsight, though, I realized this changed my life for the better. It put me on an even better path to where I am today!What are you known for among your friends?
I am known for being the “mom” in the group. I’m always checking in with everyone, making sure everyone is having a good time, and bringing food or baked goods.What is your favorite part of what you do at Vestia?
I love that we are all a team at Vestia! We are all working hard to be the best for our clients and for ourselves.How do you spend your time outside of work?
I spend as much time as I can outside enjoying nature and spending time with family and loved ones. I also love to cook and bake whenever I have time.One of Vestia’s values is to model “Wealth That Matters.” What does this mean to you?
